 Oh Yeah - Wood Grain Commander |
Maybe it's just me, but I've always loved the old Grand Wagoneers with wood grain. Does anything say "rugged" more than faux wood grain on a 5 mpg behemoth (yes, I had to look up "behemoth" to figure out how to spell it).
Well then, if you're like me, your ship has come in - a company called Auto Trim Design out of Wisconsin is offering a wood panel graphics kit for the Jeep Commander. The kit goes for about $800 and boasts that seasoned installers should be able to apply the kit in just a couple of hours.

Even if he is right the look of the kit still has the initial problem of looking incomplete. I think it should have covered the lower areas of the vehicle too such as the area underneath the door guard, etc. As it stands it seems rather odd appearing by simply skimming along the tops of the fenders and doors. |

I'd like to see it in person. (I've always liked the old Grand Wagoneers, I always associated them with Purdy shotguns, bird dogs, hunting lodges, and single malt scotch.) |
