Evaporator Anyone know about how long the air conditioner's evaporator should last on a late model Cherokee? My '98 Cherokee has about 130K miles on it, and I've just been told the evaporator is leaking - and I've already replaced it twice. Is 40K miles about right? It doesn't seem like it should be...

Re: Evaporator Unfortunately the OEM evap is porely designed and is known for leaking. When installing a new one be SURE that the drier/accumulator is replaced and the correct "o" rings are used. If this is done all will be well. Please visit our sites
