Throttle body spacer by AirAid- http://www.airaid.com/310-618_jeep.asp
Does this thing work, and how bad is the whistle? If I can pick up and extra 1-2mpg I'd be really happy, but don't want to listen to a whine forever and a day.

Re: Throttle body spacer by AirAid- I've read several magazine articles on throttle body spacers. Simple answer: none have any measurable affect on mpgs or HP/torque, regardless of the manufacturer's claims. They're junk science, as are the "fan-blade" type inserts (Tornado Air) for the air intake tubes.
The cold air intake tubes, however, do free up some HP & ft-lbs, but tend to be a little noisy or whiny at full throttle. Me, I like the noise!

Re: Throttle body spacer by AirAid- Thanks Mark. Where or which one, cold air intake, works for you?
