I got some good news from Bestop yesterday. They are planning on producing a half-door/soft window for the JK Unlimited.

"Joe,
The 2 piece soft doors for front and rear and the Element doors for the front and rear will be available after the first of the year, however,there is not yet a date or pricing. These doors will be available through all of our distributors. The element doors will only take the soft upper doors, not the upper door sliders. The upper door sliders will be released around the same time frame, however, will only fit the factory half door.

Good new and bad news.

The bad news is he used all OEM parts to put them together himself and it cost $7,000.
WTF!
I'd love to have half doors too, but . . . whoa. I'd sell/buy another Jeep first. You could buy the soft-top only with half-doors from the factory and buy the hard-top aftermarket cheaper from Bestop.

I have a 4 door Jeep Unlimited (Rescue Green) on Order . I got the hard top so it comes with full doors. Come next spring I really want to have the half doors. But there is apparently no way to get half doors from the dealer. ANY IDEAS ? Poke around the interent but no luck yet
