leaking in passenger front floor I had a 2000 sahara and i just got a 02 sport> I never had any problems with the 00. My 02 is flooding water on the passenger floor. I think its the a/c since the puddle is coming from under the carpet. I cleaned out the drain but nothing is working. Anyone know what my problem is? Also this one does not seem to have the power of my 00.

Re: leaking in passenger front floor I had the same problem with my 97, all it was is where the a/c drain tube exited the firewall into the engine compartment, it was straight. I found a 90 degree pvc fitting and glued it to the end of the drain turned down and I haven't had a problem since 02. I was told that the wind blowing straight into the vent was forcing the water to back up into the passenger compartment. May not be the same problem, but I think this is pretty common. Good Luck!

Re: leaking in passenger front floor There is a TSB regarding this matter you can go to the nhtsa web site to check it out. You dont have to pay for any TSB on their site.

Re: leaking in passenger front floor My 97's issue was not the AC, but something to do with a cowling on the passenger’s side. Sorry for being vague, but it was repaired by a “professional” that the dealership called in when they couldn’t fix the leak.
