I recently acquired a 1987 grand wagoneer. I am curious on the easiest way to identify the gear ratios for the front and rear axles, proper ride height, carburation system, etc. I am used to GM products and have had dealings with Chrysler products in the past but I am not familiar with them. I have not had the time to properly go through the vehicle to become familiar with everything as of yet, I am curious what the average fuel consumption is for a grand wagoneer and for any tips on how to improve the economy of the jeep. Any tire recommendations for best performance on and off road will be appreciated and any ideas for improving the towing capacity for my Jeep.
