Forums Congratulations on the new site. Am bookmarked for instant review and will check in daily. Looking forward to Liberty owners postings and questions.
I have an O4 RM that does a good job for us and and ole 87 Cherokee LTD at 200K doin its thing daily. You can tell from my sig that we've enjoyed a few Jeeps Beginning with an 86 Comanchee, thru three wranglers, 3 GC.s, 83 J 9000(memory?) Loved em all. And hated em all but would still like to have an Unlimited or a stretch cab pickup. It truly is a Jeep thing! 9jeeps ![]() |

Re: Forums That's a lot of jeeps to go through. I'm only on my second jeep. I had also liked the father-in-laws CJ when he had it and his current right hand drive XJ he uses on the mail route. I used to have a YJ and now have a used KJ. Took it on it's first camping trip a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Forums Hello!
Wow, listen to that echo! ![]() I have a 05 KJ and a 97 TJ. I've loved the TJ since day one and when my wife's car finally died I bought the KJ. It's our everyday car. A great vehicle the Liberty - I like it more every time I drive it. It's humorous to read some of the KJ bashing posts – I remember one person in particular from the old site - (KJ = End of Jeep) - not in my estimation! |

Re: Forums KJ is SO ugly that "Barbie" won't even ride in it!
I stand by ALL my previous posts concerning Jeep's "Edsel": Liberty. Sorry, there's just sumpthin wrong with that soup. May KJ die a early death. |

Re: Forums You are not alone in your thinking, but on the other hand neither am I.
As a long time Jeeper, an YJ, until totaled by a collision with an idiot driver, and my TJ; I am not as appalled by the KJ as some. I think Jeep made a mistake not putting a solid axle on the Libby, but other than that, it’s a fine vehicle. Last December, my wife’s Cherokee died. She didn’t want a TJ for a daily driver; I wanted a new vehicle as she does a lot of driving for her job and we’re not in the GC territory financially. I’m brand loyalist, so the KJ fit our needs. It’s been a great vehicle for us and I’ll stand by my opinion based on these facts alone. As for your opinion, well it’s yours, but the argument “KJ is SO ugly that "Barbie" won't even ride in it!” is neither constructive nor realistic. Barbie in an inanimate object and therefore is incapable of formulating an opinion. ![]() Your wish for an early KJ death does seem a bit misplaced as the KJ goes into its fifth year with decent sales figures… |

Re: Forums Well I am going to resurect this thread only because my wife and I just got our 4th Jeep and its a Liberty. I didn't get a new GC because I hate the way you feel when sitting in them. I was crazy about the Liberty's but as time has gone on I am liking it more and more. Its very decked out like a GC we had in the past and is actually fun to drive. I am not sold on its offroad abilities, but it hasn't seen much as of yet. Thats what the Rubicon is for. As my wifes daily driver it seems to be a great vehicle for her. We are looking into giving it a BB and slightly bigger tires. It just looks so small next to the other Jeep, we decided to pump it up a bit. Well anyway we are happy we bought it, and this is coming from a Jeeper who was started on Jeeps by his Grandfather in the 60's.
