Order Codes Decoded Once your have ordered your vehicle it will be labeled with a series of codes to show the status of the vehicle build:
Vehicle Order Status Codes ... specific codes are assigned to order to determine where the vehicle is in terms of production or vehicle transportation. Listed below are each code and a brief description of its status: • BA – New Order; unedited &unexploded • BB – Special Equipment Order; unedited & unexploded; held for review by bid • BD – Fleet Special Equipment processing • BE – Edit Error; unexploded unless set back because of re-edit • BG – Edit OK; unavailable for scheduling for one of the following reasons: 1. Finance Hold (F) 2. Special material procurement (S) 3. Material restrictions (L) 4. Ineligible P.S.P. date (P) 5. Schedule block/distribution hold • BX – Edit OK; available for schedule if allocation is available • C – Sub-firm (tentative) schedule • D – Firm Schedule • D1 – Gate line; order ready to proceed on the line • E – Framed • F – Paint • G – Trim • I – Built; awaiting Quality Control approvals • J – Built; quality approved • JB – Built; at assembly plant vendor for additional work • JE – Built; at Sterling Heights Emission Center • JS – Built – held in plant storage • KZ – Ex – factory; invoiced • KZ L – Released from assembly plant – not shipped for quality reasons; Held in storage • KZ M – In transit; on a rail car • KZ N – In transit, first rail arrival • KZ O – Delay for one of the following reasons: OA Plant holds quality audit OB Zone/Distribution holds OC Carrier delays OD Mechanical failure, glass damage OE Mis-shipped vehicle, derailment OF Show vehicle OG Damage in transit OH All other reasons • KZ O – In transit delay • KZ P – Arrived at body vendor; via ship-thru Special Equipment Code • KZ Q – Completed at body vendor; awaiting shipment • KZ R – Shuttle move • KZ T – Second rail departure • KZ U – Second rail arrival • KZ WD – Received at Port of Exit • KZ WK – Cleared from the Port of Exit • KZ WN – Arrived at Port of Entry • KZ WR – Arrived at Pool Storage • KZ WT – Arrived at Vehicle Processing Center • KZ WU – Arrived on Haulaway for Remix • KZ WV – Arrived at Haulaway for Dealer • KZ X – Received at Dealer – or – Final carrier payment • KZ OA – Assembly plant hold, quality audit, return to plant • KZ OB – Zone or dealer hold, sales hold, vehicle prep hold, tax hold • KZ OC – Carrier delay hold, railcar shortage, insufficient load • KZ OD – Mechanical failure, glass damage, vehicle in repair • KZ OE – Mis-dropped or mis-shipped vehicle, derailment • KZ OF – Shipped air freight, stolen vehicle recovered • KZ OG – Damaged vehicle, stolen vehicle, abandon to carrier • KZ OH – All other carrier codes currently post an “O” not included • KZ Y1 – Major damage – must not be sold as new • KZ Y2 – Major damage – vehicle sold to auction • KZ Y5 – Hail damage • ZA – Order cancelled Thanks to Jeff at Don-A-Vee for the Status Code info!
