Re: Rubicon Wheels on other Jeep Wranglers question I don't know exactly what tires are on the rubicon but with a stock sport you can fit up to 31x10.5x15 tires on it without any problems.

Re: Rubicon Wheels on other Jeep Wranglers question Even though the Rubicon sits about an inch higher than the standard Wrangler. You will be able to use Rubi wheels (MOAB style) and the stock MTR's that are 31" (245) The only problem you would get is at full flex you may rub a bit.
Lastly, you rim size would change from a 15 inch to a 16 inch.... which is not a bad thing at all. Flares on the Rubi are an inch bigger also, but most people that do the swap dont seem to mind. Looking for Rims and tires, a good place to start is Rubicon owner forum. ROF You have to register but it is just a standard forum. |

Rubicon Wheels on other Jeep Wranglers question I recently had a post wondering if I should get an 06 or an 07 Wrangler. I found a dealer that had a loaded 05 Wrangler Sport that I just couldn't pass up. It had 16 miles on it when I bought it.
I'm thinking about buying some rubicon wheels to put on it. I like the look and stance of the Rubicons and that's why I was intending to buy, until I found this Sport. Do I have to do anything different to the suspension or can I just put the factory Rubicon wheels and tires on it and go? Thanks for your advice and suggestions. |
