Not posting this to be stereotypical,

In your opion/experience, is the consensus true that owning a yellow Wrangler places you "under suspicion"?

Just looking for feedback, nothing ill-willed.

Suspicion for what? That you may be man 4 man or girl 4 girl?
Or that you may just like yellow or maybe your just a Banana type of Jeep guy??? Where are you going with this??? I would like the yellow due to Nobody would run into your Jeep, its too bright for me though. Jesus Drives a Jeep!

I like yellow too. I think it looks sweet on a Wrangler.

But in my shopping for a used one, I came across a yellow one that was equiped just the way I wanted but my girlfriend and even a few other guys in the room were like.."Dude, yellow?? Umm..."

The "thing" about yellow is something I've heard before. I was just curious how strong that stereotype was in the overall Wrangler community.

Personally, so what if your Jeep is yellow and so what if you're gay.

No matter, I found an '04 Rubi in black a short time later and decided to buy it instead.

This thread gave me a chuckle. I think toys should be bright colors and yellow is one of my favorites, whether it's my Yamaha Banshee, our old baja bug or a new Jeep. I am disappointed that yellow isn't available this year on the new Wranglers and I'm sure that I'll enjoy the red Rubicon that I ordered, but I'd prefer yellow.

Well at least I won't draw any suspicions...lol
