Re: my gig on a 08 rubicon
I read a lot of Car audio forums. I understand the player wont output video unless your parking brake is fully engaged. So the most common way to get around this is to wire it up so your unit always thinks that the parking brake is always engaged. I think Alpine (not sure) produces the MYgig for Chrysler. I will repost with a link to a tutorial (if i can find one).

Re: my gig on a 08 rubicon
I have the 08 Rubicon with the Mygig. I can say that I am disappointed for a number of reasons. 1. I currently have clipping issues with audio at all levels from store bought CD's, home burned ones and mp3's transfered via usb stick. There is no Bluetooth (uconnect) and there is no voice recognition system to control the navigation. Which means you can't change your destination (look up and address while driving). Also there is no DVD video (6 speed manual out of gear with parking break on). I ordered this Rubicon and have had it two days and will be going in this tuesday to discuss down grading the radio.

Oh, the microphone for the hands free calls and for controlling the navigation would have been on the rearview mirror.
