Wiper speed

Hey guys!! Have a question for ya.....I have replaced my dash in my 80 CJ5 and have replaced all switches, one of the switches I have replaced is the wiper switch which in it's hay day would not only turn them on but regulate the speed as well....I replaced with a plane jane toggle switch but since have lost the ability to slow the wipers down obviously. Not really too much of a big deal but is there a way to have them at half speed because these are slingin' at warp speed. If not I will make sure to drench the windshield in rain x. Thank guys

the wiper motor and the switch need to match. They both need 3 wires between each other.
