Just read the "what went wrong" thread and it reminded me of a great true story.

I used to work at a Phillips gas station doing oil changes, minor engine work, and such. This lady comes in with a late 60's ford falcon with a V8.

The problem was that whenever she went to baskin robbins to buy ice cream, the car would not start. This was the only time that the car had this problem.

It took me several minutes of questioning her to figure out the problem, and I was able to fix it on the spot.

Like I said, true story.

OK I will bite :lpopcorn:

She always parked next to the LOX tank and the vent hose discharge froze the fuel line?

she had her ice cream cone in her right hand, so she couldn't use the key.

One more hint. The problem had to do with how long it took to get the ice cream...

It was to hot to restart right away, and had to cool down.?

Close enough :)

Vapor lock. This was the only time that she went somewhere and left it just long enough to form vapor lock, but not long enough to cool off.

I rerouted the fuel line and it stopped.
