Good question I'm looking at one as well. Was thinking of a t4? Either way I'm wanting a manual, possibly a 4sp w/over drive?

A t4 and v8 is a bomb waiting to happen. Incommando I don't know anything about nv4500 I assume it wouldn't need an adapter to mate up to the 350? Just looking for knowelege.

In a frame off rebuild for a long time...
I know a guy that has a T-18-1B set up for a Chevy engine, should be ready to attach to your bellhousing and Dana 20 transfer case.
That would be almost the ultimate (cheap) way to go for a manual transmission.
He lives in Utah, so it wouldn't be a huge relocation problem.

A t4 was the weakest transmission available. That thing will disintegrate fairly quickly with a V8.
