Misc. Possible cause of destruction

I found a loose bump stop and now I think that was the cause of my driveline eating my oil pan under max compression.
This is my first loose bump stop in 35 years of assorted 4wd vehicles.

My start was in a mini blazer in 1985 and rocks in Colorado having no clue I just went out alone. Enhanced by experience in the USMC in mud and sandy Middle Eastern countries. This CJ was built as the old school style crawler would have been state of the art in 1985. It makes me smile even when doing the grocery getting or going to work. My goal was a multi purpose jeep. I hope the trouble is cured.
