I have an aftermarket valve cover on my 258. I lost the oil fill plug. The valve cover i have has a smooth opining and the oil fill cap was like a big plug. you didnt need to turn it just give it a real good pull to get it off. SOOOO any idea on what kind I could pick up from a local parts store that might work thanks:doh:

This reminds me of a stupid joke about a blond asking for a 710 cap.
Anyway to be sure we would need to know who made the valve cover you have. Most of these valve covers use the OEM style of cap. That would be your best bet. Drive your jeep to the store so you can check the cap easily.

I had to Google it: 710 Cover . But it's late and I've got into the blackberry brandy.

A-a-a-a-k! DO NOT do this! You'll have oil ALL OVER the engine compartment! (Had this happen to me when some dope who added a quart of oil to my LUV pickup failed to replace the plug.) Just measure the hole.
