I was thinking of organizing a get together in Indiana.

Maybe a charity poker run Jeep Train from Indianapolis to Haspin Acres or maybe Redbird, both reputable off-road parks. I was thinking a Sat-Sun in July or August.

Any takers?

I am open to suggestions.

Midwest Jeep Jamboree Update:

The event will be held on Saturday, August 30th, at Morrow's Meadow Park in Yorktown, IN.

The Town of Yorktown has graciously given us permission to use the park.

We're going to have a "car show" and have various vendors, and activities, etc., the first half of the day. Followed by, the "Jeep Train" trek down to Haspin Acres Off-road Park, in Laurel, IN. There will be a small entry fee to participate in the show/train activities (proceeds will be donated).

This is a charity event to benefit the American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association.

We are still looking for volunteers, sponsors and partners.

If you're interested in helping out, would like to partner with us, or sponsor the event, please contact me at: jasen.ulmer@gmail.com

Thank you for your support!

Update:

Ok folks, the meeting with the Town of Yorktown Parks Board went well.

I should have the registration website up next week.

I will be spending most of next week acquiring vendors and sponsors/partners.

I will start a new thread, once I get the registration site up.

I was worried about ya, after we talked on Sunday... Hope you're feeling better. Food poisoning sucks.

Thanks, it was pretty bad. At first I thought it was my RA medicine but that is usually just nausea. I was unable to keep any fluids down. I came to work yest. but made use of the garbage can for nine hours.

Probably more detail than you need but, oh well.

Glad you're feeling better... Damn, what did you eat?!
