My T5 shifter has a lot of slop in it. from what I can tell the stick goes into a plastic "holder" or maybe its shims I really cant tell, at the transmisson. anyone know if that part is replaceable? any other ideas?

What you need is 2 pieces made by OMIX :(. Mine have held up for about 20 years. ISOLATOR, SHIFTER PART # J3241481. &. SHIFTER HANDLE CLIP PART #J3241239. Rugged Ridge. For T4 & T5. I still have the original packaging that that info came off of.

I drilled a hole for a #10 screw and nut and bolted the 2 pieces together, no issues since.

I took mine off and bought the replacement parts mentioned.. first attempt, the stick wanted to slip back off. Took it apart and bent the retainer clip out so it locked. Hasn't moved since.
