Alrighty taxes have been good and I got plans. Just need help from fellow CJ5 gear heads.

Here are my specs.
1979 CJ5 stock
AMC 258
HEI ignition upgraded.

So I plan on getting the holley efi sniper.
But I also want to get the Clifford intake and headers.

They have a Weber adapter on Clifford's site but the holy is bbd based. Will this adapter allow me to use the sniper efi and Clifford components? Or should I get a 4 barrel sniper efi kit for my intake? They sell a adapter for webber and any carb option.

Just a warning from personal experience. The quality of Clifford performance products has fallen off considerably since the original owner died and his son in law took over. The intake I bought had poor casting and some misalinement issues. Do a search. I'm not the only unsatisfied customer.

Would the offenhauser be a better pick?

What sniper efi would be the best match for it?

Also some headers?

The Offy being dual plane I have to think would be better for a low RPM motor. I dont understand why Clifford makes theirs as a single plane. Single plane intakes are designed for high RPM motors. Maybe I am missing something here.

Sorry to revive an old post.. AZCJ5 what did you end up going with? In a similar position. Need to replace my intake. Figured I would go with Clifford or Offenhauser. But I also want to upgrade to the sniper EFI soon.
