The XJ or YJ steering column swap seems to be somewhat common in CJs.
I was wondering if anyone is using the factory cruise control from the turn signal lever on a YJ or XJ steering column.
If so, can you direct me to any write-ups on this?
Thanks a lot.

I have not done it yet, but I do plan on it as part of my rebuild. I am going with a GM TBI set up and am gonna hook it up to a YJ column using the donor GM vehicle wiring diagram.

Did you find any info on this? I have made the swap but curious how/if I can use the Cruise Control on the column for anything? I cannot figure if it's supposed to be a Ground for the Cruise or what? Whether it's the On/Off or the Momentary Button pushed, I don't see anything on the multimeter.

No, I didn't, but I'm using a Cherokee wire harness underneath the dash and in the engine bay, so it's a direct swap. I just haven't gotten that far yet.
