Hey guys, I just got a Carr XRS Rota Windshield frame light mount and two KC Daylighters for my CJ7. I'm confused on where I need to run the wires to wire them up. I would like to run the wires to the lights without having to drill into my Jeep. Thanks!

Welcome aboard!!!

Running wire without drilling will be Limited to a couple options. Run the wire between the cowl and windshield frame gasket, and using sealant to prevent leaks. Sounds like inviting water in to me, but quite a few folks have done this with no leaks. Another option would be to run the wire around the windshield hinge between the dash and door. Once again, sounds like a leak to me. Unfortunately, there's no GOOD way to wire lights at that location..... keeps posted on what you decide.

Thanks for the answer. I actually took the route of running the wires between the cowl and beind the dash on the passenger side. It came out really clean and looks like it won't leak, but I'll still test the waterproofing of it. I don't have any pictures of how I routed them right now, but I'll get them when I can and post them. Thanks again.

Yeah - post up a couple pics - may inspire others...... and satisfy us mosey ones.... LOL
