Not much to report lately. Left daughters on January 3rd and headed northeasterly into Louisiana. It's rained since we got here. Had to change a flat tire in the pouring rain this morning. It was one I bought from Wal-Mart a while back. It blew the sidewall out. Was only $15 to replace it. Going down into the delta tomorrow. Maybe I can remember to take some pictures. Will be at brother-in-laws in Gulfport Mississippi this weekend for a few weeks stay.

We did a little figuring yesterday and it's a little scary. We have traveled 28,113 miles so far using 4,160 gallons of gas with an average of 6.73 mpg. Total cost just for gas is $11,624.12.

Ouch! Lots of fuel and money, but all that you have seen, all that you have done, and most of all, all the people you have gotten to meet and spend time with is priceless. Every year we have to budget to go out west and hook up with all the folks you met in Silverton last year, but it's worth it. We are still hoping that you folks will be able to join us in Moab this spring.

Yup. It's all worth it. Especially the folks that we've met along the way. I haven't given up completely on the Moab trip yet but it doesn't look good for it. I would love to wheel with you guys again.

Been laying low and staying warm the last few weeks. Just resting. Took a little trip to a military history museum today. Also hit up a flea market on the way back.

Didn't know the museum was there. Canoeing and camping in the area, and have heard artillery practice in the summer

Yup, but this is for the motorhome hauling the jeep on a trailer. It really sucked before the price of gas came down.

I don't think it's very well advertised. Brother-in-law knew about it and asked if we wanted to go. You have to go inside the gate to get to it. No big hastle to get in.
