First off thanks for the awesome forum. I have been looking for somewhere to talk with other CJ folks. I have finally landed my CJ, which was on my bucket list, and I have started the slow process of going through it. I am needing help with bolt sizes for the bell housing on a T5 going to a 258. Also are there any resources available for CJ's which can help with repairing and replacing years of shade tree mechanics work?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome, and you have definitely found the best CJ support group around (not a support group for those trying to quit:)). According to my parts CD (81-86) the bellhousing to block bolts (V8 and I6) are as follows:

3/8-16 x 1.625"
3/8-16 x 2.187"
7/16-14 x 2.75"

The two at the bottom, one on the left and one on the right, that go into those little ears or wings at the bottom of the block, are 14 pitch x 7/16ths x 2 3/4 and the rest of them were 16 pitch x 3/8ths x 2 1/8th.

CJ (forum owner) has listed a ton of great resources (manuals, etc). Check here -> Manuals
