Fuel return line & vac line routing 84 CJ7

I recently purchased a 1984 CJ7. 258 Inline 6, 4 speed manual transmission and am trying to sort out some randomly routed or missing plumbing & wiring. Looking for some pictures of a stock correct 84 CJ7 engine compartment to see where everything is supposed to be and for advice on the best...

    engine bay fuel line routing

I'm going through a recently purchased '78 CJ-5 with a 258 and Weber carb. The PO routed the rubber fuel line (from the mechanical fuel pump to the carb.) across the valve cover of the engine. The fuel line literally lays across the valve cover. I assume this is incorrect. Can anyone...

    V8 fuel line routing

Can someone post up some pics of how the fuel lines run on a V8 from the tank to the pump? Particularly up near the engine. PO on mine hacked them up. I’m replacing them all but not sure on how they go. I’m pretty sure the V8’s ran outside the frame up front but would like some verification.

    Heater control cable routing

Where is the anchor supposed to be for the Heater temp control cable? The guy that owned my jeep before me partly disassembled the heater to install a radio (and screwed up the dashboard but that is another story). The heater control cables were all routed wrong and now I cannot seem to find...

Vapor canister hose routing (no EGR/Cat.converter/O2 sensor)

Can someone explain how to connect/route hoses to the aftermarket vapor canister (CP3045) for a 1983 CJ5 with a weber 32/36 carb, and no emissions components. I live in a place that does not require it. I simply need to get rid of the fumes/smell. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Trying to put the CJ back together, can't remember and don't have any pics of where the Back up/FWD light harness runs up to the firewall. Left side? Right side? Center? Pics are always nice.:D Appreciate any help.

    Wiper motor harness routing

Hey gang, we are re-installing the wiper motor but not sure how the harness should be routed. From the motor it goes inside the WS frame but how does it go from there to behind the dash?

    York OBA Question (belt routing)

Managed to get my hands on pretty much everything i need for a York OBA install recently and was working on installing it today. Ran into a bit of a problem though. Belt routing seems weird. The alternator pulley (alternator relocated down under the york) lines up OK with the existing belt...

    84 CJ7 Fuel Line Routing

HELP!!! I started a frame off rebuild just over 10 years ago. Made tons of progress at the beginning and then stalled out for the last 10 years (kids/ new jobs/ etc.). The kids are now old enough that they don't take all my time so I am back to the Jeep finally. My question is, does anyone...
