Hello, I have an 84 CJ7. I need some help trouble shooting lighting issues with my gauges. Currently the gauges work properly, but the lights do not work. I know the lights should work because I just replaced the small gauges with new ones and they worked before I changed them. What could be the issue? How can I fix them? Please help. Thanx!

First and always, check the ground. That's what I would do anyway.

There is one accessory lamp fuse, be a good place to start. Sometimes the base of the fuse connector can corrode so remove and check the base of the fuse as well as continuity.
Attached is a wiring diagram for an 86 - but the same layout for an 84.

Welcome as well - I'm right down I20 by Oxford/Anniston.

^^^^^What he said^^^^^
I changed all mine out a couple of months ago and ran into the same problem. Finally traced it down to a bad ground connection.
IIRC, they all share a common ground.
