Hi all,
Not been on in a while. I put in a new fuel pump and when connecting the stell fule line back for pump to carb I seem to have a leak at the compression nut. I can;t find a size to fit in any parts store in Ireland.
What is the thread size and nut connector thingy called that I put on the end of the hard fuel line into the top of the fuel pump. Its an 82, cj7 258.
Also if theres a link to one on ebay please post.
Thanks
Ken

It should be just a flared nut. The end of the fuel line is flared to fit over the connector on the fuel pump, A special flare nut is used to hold the tow ends together.
Either this:
Or this:
Hope this helps.

That would be a 5/16" flared nut. Straight lengths are available and you can bend your own as they are of a softer steel.
