I replaced the lights in my speedometer cluster because they weren't working. The new bulbs work, but will lose ground when I put them completely in. I know these bulbs get their ground from the "fingers' touching the speedometer housing. They work if I don't push them all the way in, but then they fall out when I drive. Any ideas on how to fix this grounding issue?

Are the "fingers" on the bulb housing clean? Do you have a dedicated ground run to the cluster gauge? Is the area where the bulbs plug into free of corrosion or rust? These are things I have found to be a problem with those lights. Hope that helps!
