I've used Spectra products in the past. So far, I'm very satisfied. Sometimes, you may have to bend the pickup tube slightly to fit your application. Make sure that the pickup tube is as close to the bottom of the tank as possible.

I reached out to the PO and I have the Novak sender in the 15 gallon metal tank. I have not started troubleshooting yet but I cannot hear the pump run anymore during start up. Does anyone have any experience with the Novak Sender?

What you might want to do first, is check for voltage to the fuel pump when the ignition is first turned to the on position. As I recall it is for about 2 seconds to charge the fuel system. A fuel pressure check from the fuel inlet in back of the t.b.i. just to know how it is working.
