U-bolt flip

Greetings everyone. I would like to flip my U-bolts on the front D30 wide track non lifted CJ. The headache is the side with the bigger U-bolt going over the pumpkin cast end. My shocks are not mounted on the spring mount plates, so half the battle is done. Does anyone know a practical solution...

Never heard of that. What does reversing the u-bolts do?

Nothing. Just a little bit of undercarriage clearance. I like how they look, if done correctly.

If you've ever sat on top of a stump with the U bolts dug into it, You would know why. It is for a little more and cleaner clearance.
