As I start looking at my CJ7, I am wondering how good is the old man emu lift kit. It is pretty stiff as I'm getting familiar with this car. Thoughts?

From everything I have heard their YJ conversion spring kit is a really nice spring package, I am building mine with stock YJ springs, if my tires rub on my body the old man 2.5 lift springs will be the ones I get.

I run OME heavy's with an extra main spring and its still a softer ride than it was with OEM springs. What shocks are you running?

Take your shocks off and test drive before you blame the springs.
Also-Spray the spring packs heavy, with silicon spray to help with the ride.

At what torque did you set your shackle bolts?

The shocks are also emu, and after spending 3 hours on the trail yesterday, i had no issues. Overall the suspension worked beautifully. Thanks for the input and now will focus my energy in understanding why the temp gauge remains on high
