Post pics of your steps / rock sliders. I need more options.
I’m too old to jump anymore so steps are nice. Except for the part where they get torn off.
Not being able to find anything I REALLY liked, I made my last set. They look “ok”, work fantastic and are definitely strong enough... but weigh 12,000 pounds!
Still not exactly what I want but can’t come up with anything else. Help!

Jeff, for my CJ7, I use 2" angle iron @ 3/16" thick that I got at a local scrapyard. This would be my 3rd set with the previous sets using thinner steel. I kept going to thicker steel as the previous sets kept getting bent up. I don't need a step yet, but on the passenger side wifey uses a fold down truck step. This setup has worked pretty good for me and taken quite a beating. They are also tied into the body with conduit straps to stop them from bending inward. If you have any interest in this type of setup, you could also weld in a step made from 3/16"-1/4" steel plate. I have a pic in my gallery that I can't seem to post up anymore.

Had these made to match my Runck bumper. They have a 45* cut on the ends. Welded to the frame and the bars holding them to the frame are wide enough and in the right location for my future cage. I like them a lot.

They sure have a big don't sue us, you're on your own jackson if you buy them. :)

Isn't that the way of the world now days with everything? Gee I'm a dumb *** who just spilled my hot coffee in my lap so I should sue the company that sold it to me.

Wouldn’t buy them anyway. Too modern... like a kid currently in high school designed them.
Looking for something a little more “period correct”. Simple / homemade works.
