Hello,
I just finished my '71 CJ5 frame up rebuild. It has Dauntless 225 bored .030" over and T14 transmission Dana18 xfer. I had engine and transmission rebuilt professionally. Engine guy told me that the clutch was as good as new and didn't need to be replaced. I have it back on the road now. It goes forward fine however it jerks and jumps like crazy when letting the clutch out in reverse. I have done a little research with minimal findings. Someone mentioned a cable strap but I can't remember taking a cable or strap off. I think this is a common problem but don't know what to do to fix it. Help please.

Thanks,
