The brake drums on my 65 CJ measure 10" on the inside of the drum. So I would assume they are 10" brakes. When I look at aftermarket Jeep sites and look up by year 1965. They all call for 9" brake parts. Did CJ's around the 1965 year come with 9" or 10" I would think I should stay with the 10"

Thanks

Technically 10" were from '66 to '71 but some end of year '65's were outfitted with 10" or they were retrofitted. The max drum dia. for turning purposes is stamped on the inside edge. Go by your drum size.

I get it, I'm a Jeep owner and ad-block detectors kinda stink but ads are needed on this site. This is a CJ site, all the ads are set for autos (some times others get through.) I cannot make them just for Jeeps but I try.
