We recently got a peek at the 2007 Wrangler "Customer Presentation Guide". This document is used by Jeep dealers to educate their staff on the advantages of their vehicles versus the competition.

Since you're reading this site, you already probably know the advantages of the Wrangler over its competition. In a nutshell, here are the Wrangler features that Chrysler Group is recommending that dealers tell potential buyers:

-Purpose-built for off-road adventures
-Tough axle design
-Excellent off-road capabilities
-Extreme approach and departure angles
-More ways to the open air
-Adventure lifestyle options
-Rollover control
-Choice of tops
-Four removable doors

But what does Chrysler Group think the competition's selling points are? Here's a rundown:

Toyota FJ:

-Retro styling that reminds the customers of the original Toyota Land Cruiser
-Tough, aggresive appearance
-Standard skid plates and tow hooks

Nissan Xterra:

-Bold styling
-Standard skid plates
-Solid rear axle

Hummer H3:

-Hummer styling and identity
-Vortec 3500 3.5L I-5
-Off-road performance

What do you think? Is Chrysler Group highlighting the best features to best sell the Wrangler?
