DaimlerChrysler Providing Hints on a Production Rescue?

A reader passes us some interesting information regarding the Jeep Rescue concept vehicle.

One of our readers recently emailed us to let us know that DaimlerChrysler has printed up some Jeep Rescue literature and is supplying it to Jeep dealerships. That's as much as we know for sure. We don't know if the "literature" is going to all Jeep dealerships. We don't know if this means anything at all, but our source believes that DaimlerChrysler's doing this is a hint that they are seriously considering production of the Jeep Rescue. Could this just be a way of gauging potential customer reaction to the Rescue? Again, we don't know.

All-new 2005 Grand Cherokee Debut Set

The fine Grand Cherokee site www.wjjeeps.com is reporting that the all-new 2005 Grand Cherokee will make it's debut at the New York Auto Show in April of this year (possibly on April 7). They're also reporting that the a 7-passenger Grand Cherokee, codenamed the XK will make its debut as a 2006 model in September of 2005.
