We saw a story about a 1983 Cherokee that was fitted with a "Zero Pollution Fuel Saving Device, a revolutionary low-cost product easily fitted to the inlet manifold of motor vehicle, marine, motor cycle and industrial engines". Apparently, the device can reduce carbon monoxide exhaust emissions to almost zero. In addition, it can enable gasoline engines to reduce the amount of fuel needed by up to 30%. Thanks to all the readers who put us in our place regarding the Jeep "spy" photo that we published a couple of days ago. Based on our readers, it was a photo from a Jeep "JJ", a project that was canned a few years back. The goal of the project was to design a mini-SUV, smaller than the Wrangler. Apparently, the picture was published in the February, 1999 issue of Fourwheeler magazine. Thanks to everyone for supporting mike's totally free jeep news, we now have over 2,000 registered users!
