As many of you may know, I am in the middle of building my 78 CJ7. If you are on this site, you know it is possible for a jeep to have a little rust. There are many choices on dealing with rust. The one I have chosen for most of my CJ is Por-15. There are a few similar products that are a seem cheaper, but if you compare the coverage (sq. feet) from Por-15 to its competition, it is relatively similar in price. The company reccomends a 3 step process starting with Marine Clean. This is basically... [Read More]

We are a family oriented off road club in the greater Detroit area. Our meetings move around in location, but are generally held on the 1st Sunday of the month.
Club is active in Land use issues and we try to make two major trips a year, on Spring and one Fall. Then have smaller events every month.

The VJA is a family oriented club. Children are often found on club rides and at meetings.
Rides are generally from April through October. Meetings are once a month on the third Friday of the month.
Rigs must be street legal, inspected, and registered.
All levels are welcome from stock to heavily modified.
