After using https://www.faxvin.com/vin-decoder my vin which is 1JCCE87E9DT069738 , it shows base model. Under TRIM, would it indicate Laredo or Renegade if so? Im very confident its a Laredo due to under hood light, ,clock on left side of steering and ancient plaque on the glove compartment and side molding.

The VIN won't tell the trim package. You have to check the other numbers/letters on the VIN plate to tell paint and upholstery type/color. But there really is no way I am aware of to know the trip package for sure. This is because even a base model could have been ordered with most of the accessories that a Laredo or Renegade would have come with (clock, tach, carpet, etc). So simply having those items doesn't prove for sure. But you could use process of elimination to get some assurance (99%). There are tell tale signs of VIN tag interior options that give a 99% accuracy. Examples:

From 1980-1986, If the tag has a "J" code it was optioned with Italian purse Cara vinyl seats w/vertical stripes, Chances are it was a Laredo.
Also in 1980 you could have blue Denim seats with Italian Purse Vertical Stripes on a Renegade.
Or tan Denim Vinyl with Italian Purse Vertical Stripes on a Golden Hawk.
Also in 1982 if you have a "N" code it was a Jamboree edition with beige Cara Vinyl seats with Italian Purse Vertical Stripes.

So checking color and seat options, you could get a good idea whether you have a Renegade, Laredo, Golden Eagle, etc.

Your VIN shows this:
