Trying this here first-GWagon temp guage Issue

After installing my MSD ignition and changing to a new carb all of the sudden my temp guage doesn't work anymore. I did replace the wires that connected to the distributor there with the wires that run from the msd. The was also what I think was the solenoid that was on the throttle of the old carb that was not on the new one. It's on an AMC 360 V8. Anyone run into this issue before?
