I've been looking at the CJ and it seems much higher than usual. The P.O. said there was no lift, but I have some doubts. I've attached a photo from the side, it is sitting on 31s. I've also counted 7 leaf springs on each side of each axle, if that matters.

Young man, that Jeep might have a body lift. Looks very nice.

Sure looks like its got at least a 2 1/2" lift, but, maybe body lift with some extended shackles?

The leaf count can be deceiving. I have a 77 that came with a count similar to yours as there was a heavy duty option. I hate mine, but it will be gone soon.

That said, not having fender flares distorts lift a bit. I have 31's at present on my Renegade and mine looks similar to yours.

If I had a gun to my head, and was looking at your spring-to-frame distance in front of the rear wheel I'd say it probably has no lift.

My 2cts.
