Anyone have a link to a video about how to remove a flywheel? I'm relatively hand but have never done that before and I don't want to screw anything up.
It depends on if the engine is in the Jeep or not but the end result is the same.
You have to pull the transmission or engine then just unbolt the flywheel.
Basically, disconnect battery, block wheels pull drive shafts, prop up engine (oil pan or strap), support trans and transfer case, remove crossmember, remove 4 bolts from trans to bellhousing, pull trans assembly, remove clutch linkage, pull starter, remove bellhousing, unbolt pressure plate then remove flywheel.
Some more info on why would help (is the body on etc.).
