1985 Jeep CJ7, stock (for now). I-6 258, t-150 trans, dana 20 tc, 16" wheels with 285/75r16 BF Goodrich MT's.
1979 Jeep J10, stock (motor pulled for CJ7), t-150 trans, 15 x 10 Bullet hole wheels with Goodyear 31 x 10.5 r15 AT's, future sale or part out.
Anyone have any pics or plans for any DIY side steps? Would like to fab my own so that I know they'll be sturdy. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't have plans but I did design my steps/sliders to match my Runck bumpers by using 3" square tubes cut at a 45 degree angle. I believe there are 2" square tubes going to plates where they are welded to the frame. I can't weld so a local club member did the work for me. Much cheaper (and better) than any I would have bought.
